The Anatomy of Indian Middle Class Society

Welcome to my Blogosphere and since you've landed here I am sure you are also not a millionaire. Neither am I. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Well, what made me think so because poor people don't even read blogs and rich people don't have time to do so. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Ž

A middle-class person is similar to cheese in a sandwich, a category of people who don't want to live like poor but at the same time, they can't afford to be rich.

A few funny characteristics of the Indian middle-class are :
  • Uses the branded soap but will use it until it becomes a paper soap
  • Shampoo, Toothpaste & Creams at the house will be branded but will be squeezed up to the very last drop of it.
  • Uses empty Jars of branded items for storing pulses and grains.
  • There is a separate range of Biscuits and Namkeen which only come out when guests are at home.
  • Old clothes are never thrown away instead they are used for household mop work till the time they don't evaporate.
  • Plastic that covers new stuff like Sofa, Chair, TV, Remote is not removed until it becomes greasy
  • New batteries for the remote are not purchased when it stops working instead slapping the remote is the best way out.
  • Parents constantly comparing their kid's academic performance with the neighbor's kids and then advising them to study like them.
  • Remembering without fail which relative gave how much Cash/Gifts in family function so that it would be reciprocated accordingly.
  • Bargaining is the superpower when shopping offline and while shopping online filter on prices is used as "Low to High"
  • And the best one - Tea is the Nector for all middle-class people and the ultimate solution to all the problems.

In essence, growing up in an Indian Middle-Class family teaches all about Sustainability. Middle-class families are those who want to live luxury of rich in limited resources available.
No doubt that a middle-class person struggles throughout their life for achieving their ambitions, goals, and where they want to be someday.

Even though it's a Middle-class family that is not financially stable but emotionally stable.
And the best part of being Middle Class is we get a lot of true friends who make us laugh louder, smile brighter, and live better.

"Life of Middle-Class People may be hard but they know how to adjust in difficult situations."
